What an honour it is to cook some of my favourite Burmese dishes (as taught by my mother) at the incredible Darjeeling Express in Soho!

My favorite dish as a kid, I used to ask my mother to make this all the time. Coconut chicken curry noodle soup thickened with gram flour and served with all the trimmings: yellow split pea crackers (beh kyaw), hardboiled eggs, coriander, chili flakes and a wedge of lime

Burmese Tea

Burma is famous for their teahouses which can be found on every corner. My mother would rarely be seen without a teacup in hand. This sweet milky tea will be served just the way my parents loved it.

Note: As we are hosting this at the amazing Darjeeling Express restaurant, it will not be BYOB but drinks will be available for purchase there.
